Sony Alpha A7S (α7S / ILCE-7S) E-mount mirrorless interchangeable lens camera houses a 12.2 MP Exmor full-frame CMOS sensor, which combined with the high-speed powerful BIONZ X image processor delivers beautifully detailed, unprecedented dynamic range and low-noise images from ISO 50 to 409,600. The on-sensor 25-point AF system delivers blazingly quick, accurate autofocus in light levels as low as -4 EV to support working in a wide variety of shooting conditions.
The Alpha A7S (α7S / ILCE-7S) can read out read-out from the whole of the 35mm full-frame sensor. The camera outputs 4K (3840x2160) UHD video from the HDMI connector with 4:2:2 color sampling, for recording onto an external storage device or viewing on a compatible monitor. It also equipped with S-Log2 gamma that expands the dynamic range by up to 1300% to minimize clipped highlights and loss of detail in shadows.
The Alpha A7S (α7S / ILCE-7S) is built-in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity for instant image sharing and transfer to compatible smart devices, or remotely control the camera with smartphone/tablet. It support Sony's PlayMemories Camera Apps, allowing users to add new creative effects, filters, utilities and more.
Other highlights include 2.4 million dot XGA OLED Tru-Finder (Electronic Viewfinder), 3-inch 921.6k-dot tiltable LCD screen, 1920x1080/60p full HD movie recording with high quality 50 Mbps XAVC S codec, up to 120fps high speed 720p HD video recording, 5fps continuous shooting and weather-sealed magnesium alloy body.
