Leica M8.2

LEICA M8.2 is a revision to M8 digital rangefinder camera. It houses a 10.3 MP APS-H sized low-noise CCD sensor has been optimized for the special features of the Leica M lens system to deliver sharp images with high contrast and exactly true color reproduction.

The M8.2 is full compatibility with all M-mount lenses means that their unique imaging performance is now available for digital photography, too. The camera uses a 6-bit coding system to identify which lens is used and can apply a final stage software based vignetting correction.

Leica M Monochrom

Leica M Monochrom rangefinder camera is the first full-frame format camera to be designed exclusively and without any compromises for black-and-white photography.

It equipped with a newly-designed 18 megapixels CCD sensor is also perfectly matched to the superior performance of Leica M-Lenses. As the sensor does not 'see' colors, every pixel records true luminance values - as a result, it delivers 'true' black-and-white images that are significantly sharper than comparable exposures from a camera with a color-sensitive sensor, and images that require very little or no further image processing.
